New books
So the next book in my Atramento series is out. You can check out my site if you have missed the free short stories.
Freya is on a quest to find a cure for the Ambrosia drug that has brought the city to its knees. But when her life is threatened, she needs a protector.
Rawiri has his share of secrets but protecting Freya means confronting them. When his long-lost brother shows up, he is going to have to face his past or it will destroy him.
I've even been working on the last book of this series and below is the cover for the book but so far no pre-order link. That will come later in the year.
I've really been enjoying going through and revamping these books. I'll be able to make some serious changes in the next one as I made a classic faux par as I had the disability cured by the end of the book. I'd tell you what I'm planning to do but - SPOILERS!
After these books, I still have another series that I need to revamp. These are pure science fiction but on a planet so I don't get to cheat and just have the backside of a spaceship on the cover. Though maybe... I'll see. Some of my favourite authors still do that even when they have planet-based stories so I might be able to get away with that.
But revamping books has got me excited about writing again. Well actually more about being excited about editing. I had a second book for my Kitsune Shapeshifter series almost ready to go but I hit a wall and so abandoned it. I've now finished it and below is the cover and the pre-order link to it.
They have kidnapped Akari. Kiera can't leave now, not when Haku's sister is missing. But if she stays it will only be harder to leave and she has to leave. She isn't going to let someone trap her again. But Akari is missing and that is more important.
But Akari's disappearance is the beginning of a plot to murder thousands of humans and Kiera has to save humans from the yokai threatening them. With just the naginata from the goddess Inari, she will have to face forces stronger than she could have imagined in her past life.
I've even started writing the last book in this series. But we'll see if another shiny idea distracts me before I finish or not.
And if you missed the first book in my Kitsune Shapeshifter series here is the first book. It has also been re-edited and tightened up a little.
Magic naginata and shape-shifting foxes. Canada is much more exciting than the brochure had promised.
Kiera prefers a boring holiday and has created a following based on it. Unfortunately, when Goddess interferes, it means her rather sedate holiday turns into the discovery of a lifetime. Yokai are real and all the other creatures they told her about at her grandmother's knee are also real and so far none are friendly.
